Since 2024, Pride of the Déise has commissioned a Waterford-based artist to create the visual identity of our annual Pride Festival - the poster, the t-shirt, the image that carries our community's spirit through the city every summer.

This year, for the first time, we opened that commission to applications. Applications are now closed and we are delighted to have selected our 2026 Festival Artist. An announcement will follow soon - watch this space! 👀

About the Bursary | Faoin Sparánacht

The selected artist will receive a €1,000 bursary to create a festival poster design and matching t-shirt design (a monochrome version of the same design), submitted digitally at print-ready quality. All work will be licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) and will become part of Pride of the Déise's artistic legacy.
